You just found out that one guy is crushing right back,
And you just can’t stop smiling.

But joy is a feeling that never lasts long,
That smile now lost and so far gone.
For the news that just crushed you, hit you so hard.
Your emotions start to unravel , those memories you can’t seem to discard.

You can’t help but think, why it always happens to you
Your not the first to fall for him, he rejected you too.
You feel like a fool, because everyone knew.
That he stopped liking you and you were too dumb to see the clue.

But life still goes on and you’ll feel joy again.
So don’t be sad to long, for there’s many other men.
And never forget how you felt this bitter way.
So you can help a friend, when they’re feeling the same betray.
